Adaland
Aqua Park situated just 80km from Izmir. It is in the top ten water parks in
the entire world and also the biggest in all of Europe. The fun filled park is
full of entertainment for the entire family, if it’s for the children who want
to play in the pirate ship or the Mushroom shower. To the adults &
teenagers that want to race each other to the bottom in the pink and blue loop
slides. Adaland also offers the chance to swim with the most majestic creatures
of the sea, dolphins. The park is open from 10:00 till 18:30, which allows for
a whole day of soaking wet fun.
In the country’s largest city (Istanbul) you can go and see
the Hagia Sophia it is a wonderful church and museum. It is built with 30
million gold tiles throughout the interior. In its 1,400 year life span it has
been used for many things such as a mosque, cathedral and now it is used as a
Museum for tourists. The words Hagia Sophia literally mean Holy Wisdom. The
dome of this landmark spreads across a diameter of 31 metres; the building was
changed from a mosque into a museum in 1935 by the first Turkish president
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Turkuazoo Aquarium
If you want to see some wildlife from under the sea, but you
don’t want to take a boat out into the ocean and try and spot some fish. Why
not take a trip to Turkeys first ever Giant Aquarium located in Istanbul. It
boasts to have over 10,000 different sea creatures such as stingrays, piranhas,
and octopi. You can even have the once in a life time opportunity to dive with
the sharks and all the over marine wildlife that is in the exhibit with it. You
don’t need any previous diving experience and you have the chance to do this
all 7 days of the week from 10:00 till 18:00. It also offers a cafe towards the
end of the Aquarium where you can chat about your Amazing visit and eat and
drink a range of different foods and beverages.
